They aligned the track as much as possible, replaced a bolt that was coming loose, and greased up both tracks. How do I know my garage door seal needs replacing?

If you can see daylight under or around the closed door, water comes in when it rains, you feel drafts, or the rubber is cracked, flattened or torn, the seal is no longer doing its job.

What kind of bottom seal does my garage door need?

It depends on the retainer channel on the bottom of your door — common styles are T-type, bulb and J-type. We identify the retainer and fit the matching seal, and can add a floor threshold if the slab is uneven.

Does a new garage door seal help in winter?

Yes. A tight bottom seal and fresh side and top stripping cut cold drafts and keep snowmelt, leaves and rodents out, which matters most for attached garages.
